Based on an original story I had been writing for a few years, I created this animation as a potential starter for a series of shorts. The video is a surreal look at a walk through an enchanted forest based on a story told by my fictional (sort of) friend Florence. 

 

Story:

I used to know this girl called Florence, but I didn’t really like her very much because she used to come up with the most absurd stories. Like the time she said she was lost in this creepy forest and everywhere she looked, she felt like she was being watched. After walking for a while, she came across this giant tree. The tree had eyes growing from the ends of its branches and they were all looking at her. In the center of the trunk, there was a giant eye, bright blue and squinting at her. So Florence decided that she better sit down and look back.
